Meet the Real Life Monty The Bull, a future PBR bucking bull star

Matt and Christie Teuteberg are very proud of the bull they co-own with HD and Dillon Page. The “real” Monty The Bull (aka Page 30S) was born in 2006 and is just getting started with his bucking bull career. He lives on the Page Ranch (www.pagebulls.com) in Ardmore, Oklahoma with some of the most famous bucking bulls in the world. His father, Crossfire Hurricane, is one of the top 50 bulls on the professional bull riding tour, also known as, the PBR.


Monty The Bull takes 5th Place at ABBI Futurity World Finals in Las Vegas

In November 2008, Monty The Bull lived up to everyone’s expectations and performed great during the Futurity World Finals. On Monday, November 3rd, during the Long Round, he tied for 6th place out of 75 bulls with a score of 85.75 points. He was very fired up and put on a show after the 6 seconds by chasing after anyone in the arena with him! That finish earned him a spot in the Short Go on Wednesday. The Short Go showcased the top 20 two year olds in the country and Monty The Bull finished 5th place after scoring an 83 in that round.

Monty The Bull bucked and kicked hard and settled right into the spin. So far, he likes to spin to the left! He showed plenty of heart and lots of attitude….all the ingredients for a great bucking bull career!

Monty The Bull will be facing his newest challenge, a real cowboy on his back in 2009 as a Classic Bull! HD and Dillon Page will be working with him on that and we are so grateful to them for the care they give to all their young animal athletes. Watch for him at PBR events this Summer and Fall!


Monty The Bull Finishes 7th Place at the American Heritage Futurity

On June 1st, 2008 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Monty The Bull competed in his first ever Futurity Event called the American Heritage Futurity and he did very good! He took 7th place out of 129 young two year olds and earned enough points to qualify to compete in the ABBI Futurity Finals in Las Vegas in November 2008.
